(November 28, 2017) – When the GRAMMY® nominations were announced this morning, five clients of Maximum Artist Management, the 20-year old Nashville-based firm founded and led by Mitchell Solarek, received a remarkable eight nods. The list includes Natalie Grant (Curb/Word Entertainment), who earned her seventh nomination; GRAMMY® winning songwriter/producer, Bernie Herms; Danny Gokey (BMG) who earned his first GRAMMY® nomination; Tauren Wells (Reunion Records/Sony Music), who picked up two nominations this year; and Le’Andria Johnson (RCA Inspiration/Sony Music), who also was honored with two nominations. The 60th GRAMMY® Awards will be handed out Sunday, January 28 in New York City as part of the “biggest night in music.”

HOUSTON (November 7, 2017) - The Swisher Sweets Artist Project came to HoustonThursday night for a free show at Numbers Nightclub featuring GRAMMY® nominated rapper B.o.B and Texas artists Lyric Michelle, KB the Boo Bonic, Gloria Prince and DJ Chose. The Swisher Sweets Artist Project made a donation of $25,000 to MusiCares® for Hurricane Harvey relief. Debbie Carroll, senior executive director of MusiCares®, was on hand to accept the donation, which will go toward assisting local musicians directly affected by Hurricane Harvey.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 16, 2017) – Multi-GRAMMY® nominated and award-winning artist Natalie Grant has received positive news from her medical team following thyroid surgery on October 10th.  

Grant underwent surgery last week to remove half of her thyroid after two tumors were found in an ultrasound.  The results of the surgery and pathology report revealed papillary thyroid cancer in two nodules in the right lobe of the thyroid.  The pathology report showed that the cancer was fully encapsulated in the nodules and had not traveled any further into the surrounding tissue or neighboring lymph nodes. Her surgeon stated that by removing the right side of the thyroid, they removed all traces of cancer and no further treatment will be necessary.
