DONNA ULISSE’S MOUNTAIN LILY ALBUM RELEASES FEBRUARY 23RD
NASHVILLE, TENN (FEBRUARY 23, 2024) – Donna Ulisse’s new album, Mountain Lily, releases today. The recently crowned 2024 SPGBMA (Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America) Songwriter of the Year is ready to unveil her latest Billy Blue Records’ release which expertly weaves together elements of Bluegrass, Folk, Gospel, and Americana, creating a rich tapestry of sound that is both timeless and deeply resonant. Ulisse invites listeners on a soul-stirring journey, romanticizing the beauty of everyday life.
The ten-track album is a testament to the enduring power of mountain roots music. “Don’t Time Drag” and “My Constant Savior” showcase the incredible vocal talent which got her signed to Atlantic Records at the beginning of her career. “Where the Mountain Lilies Grow” displays her unique storytelling ability and evokes the timeless beauty and rugged spirit of the mountains.
