Fittingly, as one of Katie’s passions is giving back, a portion of the proceeds from all songs released benefit a small non-profit. A portion of proceeds from “Your Hands” will go towards the Robert Irvine Foundation. This Foundation supports and strengthens the physical and mental well-being of our service members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

The ones that have fought for this nation, the ones who are unapologetically praising the Good Lord, the ones who you just feel so good to stand next to: It’s for our fathers, our significant others, and the ones we have met on our journey. Their lived experience could write a story for the ages. I wrote this song over a year ago and my team has always said it was their favorite. When I’ve played it for an audience, it seems to always remind them of someone special in their life and that makes me happy.”
